The original Nike Air Presto was released in 2000 and the concept was a T-shirt for the foot, with a comfortable foot-hugging elastic upper. Its minimalistic appearance and snug foot support made it a firm favourite of both runners and sneaker collectors.
2016 has seen the Air Presto capture the imagination of a new generation of sneaker-heads, along with a rekindled love affair for the sneaker veterans from 16 years ago. Nike has recently presented us with a diverse range of different colourways and designs and it’s not hard to find a pair you love.
These new premium editions of the Nike Air Presto are given a denim twist and are due for release this month. The durable denim uppers come in either grey or blue, and the two colourways are each partnered with varying tones of black and grey, or navy and brown. The Nike Air Presto Premium comes equipped with leather heel loops and Presto logos on the tongues. The Air Presto PRM Denim is due to arrive on Friday 13th May 2016… let’s hope it’s not an unlucky day for you, as these denim numbers are in popular demand.
